    I agree totally in principle, but is it Mr. President to whom you should be writing and not to Mr. “Republican”??

    And yes, all of the student’s that have ever done ANNIE with us had never heard of the “New Deal”…it’s actually amazing to me, the amount of history I teach when directing!

    “The amount of money proposed for education cuts is enough to destroy the quality of a country that already has a population which does not know who sits on the Supreme Court or who the past Presidents were and the only time they heard about the “New Deal” was when they saw the musical ANNIE!”

    Not only the population, Freddie; it seems like this goes for half the Congress, too!
